All our logs are seasoned for a minimum of 12mths and stored in ventilated buildings to maximize the natural drying process, this ensures our logs have a moisture content of 20% or less. View all

Biomass Woodchips
We produce all of our own chip from timber which has been harvested by ourselves from local sustainable woodlands; this ensures both the trace-ability and quality for every chip we supply. We have extensive knowledge of the wood chip industry which we can pass on to our clients to ensure they have the optimum supply for their biomass system.
Wood chip can be collected from our depot or delivered to a customer’s site using a number of different systems depending on location, case of vehicle access and size of load.
Sustainable Forestry
Using wood fuel from well-managed woodlands provides market pull for forest products and gives land owners an incentive to manage their wood. Managing woods will also produce high quality products such as saw logs that could replace carbon intensive building materials.
Wood fuel is carbon lean. Burning wood releases carbon dioxide but this is balanced by the carbon dioxide absorbed by the original trees and in the growth of new ones. The biggest savings of carbon dioxide occur when wood replaces carbon-intensive, fossil fuels, especially in areas that are off the gas grid.
